SMB/Samba Windows network and file sharing configuration

Please refer to the general reference manual following this link

How to setup Intradisk to work with NFS

To setup NFS configuration you have to manually edit the /etc/cfg_user/exports file via your favourite FTP browser. Very easy and comfortable it is possible if you e.g. use TotalCommander, because it lets you download, edit and reupload the configuration file in one step just by pressing F4 on the selected exports file. The setup of NFS has to be done in the following steps:

  1. Install a NFS browser like Totalcommander
  2. Install an editor which is able to correctly display and write Unix/Linux-linefeeds like e.g. MED
  3. login as admin and download the /etc/cfg_user/exports file to your \temp directory
  4. edit the network entries to fit to the correct network your NFS clients ist accessing from e.g. 10.0.0.5
  5. reupload the exports file to /etc/cfg_user/
  6. Click Restart Network on the on the webinterface of the network configuration (use e.g. showmount -e <nasdrive address> for testing on your NFS client)
  7. Finally click Make Changes Permanent on the Webinterface of the network configuration

In the exports share only entrys starting with /export/ or starting with /home/ are allowed. Else they are removed on restart of the network
