Active Directory Support (ADS) for authentication integrated into new intradisks "Business" server
As worlds first device of it’s class intradisk “Business” is capable of doing automated authentication on a company centralized Active Directory server over an open and standardized high secure Kerberos/Heimdal authentication protocol. This is used to manage all access control permissions on all intradisk shares by a standard Win2K oder WinXP server wich normally is also the company domain controller. Changes of passwords can so easily be done on any of the users workstation without accessing the web configuration interface of the intradisk. The main advantage is to easily integrate smaller company sattelites like home offices into the central security management and even backup all users data over night using a central backupserver. New and innovativ backup system "CIBS" presented...
Worlds first presentation of our new and innovative “Cascaded Intradisks Backup System” (short: CIBS) gave us a real positive resonance. The big interest showes us, that there are already many people that are already aware of the big data safety problems when using standard RAID systems and are looking for a replacement for their expansive tape recording systems... Graphical user and development interface X11 integrated
Having much more comfort for development of applications we successfully integrated unix’ favorite X11 graphical user interface into our native linux environment. This GUI also can be used for setting up Terminal servers with webaccess to completely save desktops with accessibility from all over the world. This surface makes it possible to eg. use it as a remote internet browser, graphical development envronment or as virtual terminal-, Email- FTP-...server. Due to its special ARM architecture it has almost 100% safety against virus attacks which makes it ideal for directly accessing over internet.
Voice Over IP Telefonanlagensoftware (VoIP) Asterisk installiert
VoIP, the main theme on CeBIT 2006, we took as event to demonstrate the performance on spped integration of simple addon software for the exhibition. A free available pbx software “asterisk” was installed to use the intradisk as central ip phonebox management system for VoIP telefones by SNOM, that can be easily attached to the WLAN or LAN interfaces of our intradisks. Perfect and lossless voice transmission was even guaranteed by our high performant systems, when streaming two DVBT video streams at the same time plus one ore more audio hifi quality music streams. more about you find here...
